2008 Season Concluded

The BBBs were defeated by Wissahickon in Wednesday night’s championship game. The team wrapped up their 2008 season with an admirable 10-3 record.

Championship Wednesday

Seeded 1st, Pennridge bypassed the first round of the playoff tournament. Sunday night, the BBBs defeated Central Bucks 9-4 in their second-round contest. Pennridge will play for the championship Wednesday night at 5:45pm at Quakertown Field 1. Their opponent will be either Wissahickon or Quakertown2. Those teams are scheduled to complete their second-round game Wednesday at 5pm. Their game on Sunday was suspended in the 6th inning due to lightning.

1st Place Finish

The BBBs succumbed to Harleysville this past Wednesday, losing 13-10. Like Pennridge’s only previous loss, the game was called after 5 innings due to lack of light.

Despite the loss, Pennridge finished the regular season in 1st place with an impressive 10–2 record. Wissahickon and Harleysville both have a chance to tie Pennridge for 1st if they each complete and win the remainder of their make-up games.

The season will conclude with a 3 round playoff tournament. The tournament will begin Wednesday night, but the final seedings may not be available until Monday night, since many teams have make-up games to complete.

Regular Season Finale
